An Interactive Learning Environment

The Village of Umuofia is a virtual reality space enhancing the study of Chinua Achebe's novel Things Fall Apart and the Igbo people at time of British colonial domination of Nigeria (late 19th early 20th century). Participants may use this environment in a variety of ways, including as an immersive museum of images of Igbo village life and traditional West African music, as well as an interactive space for live action role play activities based on the novel.
